We get a lot of questions asking how in the world we came up with the variations of the empty cubicles for our various sites.
During our time together in Bastrop ISD, we had cubicles that were assigned to us in the Curriculum & Instruction section of the admin building. However, we were always at our campuses everyday, and sometimes even Fridays, which was our only office day for meetings and planning. So, the running joke was that we had cubicles that belonged to us, but because of our busy schedules, they were always empty! We decided that our name had to somehow involve this. We wanted teachers and anyone else that follows us to understand that we are dedicated and hard-working, and right in the trenches day in and day out, just like teachers! We were not just sitting up at the admin building eating bon-bons, playing games, taking long lunches (we barely had time to eat!), and getting pedicures. We live the world of education each and ever single day and we LOVE it!
